Tsunami Fundraiser March 26th

In the wake of the tsunami and earthquake that rocked the island country of Japan, our hearts and prayers go out to the families who lost their homes and lives during this natural disaster. Over 500,000 people have been displaced, 8,000 dead and 20,000 still missing. The most affected are the elderly.

The Japanese and Japanese-American community here in Modesto have organized a fundraiser to help those who were not fortunate enough to stay out of harms way the way many of our families were able to.  Our countrymen are still suffering and must still deal with the hardships of recovering a normal life.

Please support Tsunami relief by attending the Japanese Craft and Yardsale on Saturday, March 26th 9:00am-2:00pm at 4824 Stratos Way Modesto, Ca 95356 off of Kiernan Ave. (between Tully Rd. and Mc Henery Ave.).  All of the proceeds will go to the Japanese embassy in San Francisco to go directly to those who need it the most.

Super Bowl Sunday

We will be CLOSED Sunday, February 6th for Super Bowl!   Time to kick back, BBQ, and drink some Sapporo.  Who are you rooting for this year?

New Year, or Shogatsu, is one of the most important holidays in Japanese culture.

No, we do not serve Obama Sushi, however we do have a fine selection of handmade sushi.  California Rolls, Fried Shrimp Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Cooked Spicy Tuna Roll, Tekka Maki, and Inari. Specials such as our Salmon Roll, Kappa Maki, or Maki Sushi is available upon request!  We can also bring the sushi bar to you at your next party. Call and ask for details.
